Our Mission: Build stronger foundations at home by arming families to navigate our sexualized culture. We provide a biblical perspective that is counter culture, empowering parents  to have healthy conversations about identity and sexuality. Most importantly, it allows them to be the go-to person for their children.

May 5, 2021

In this episode, we sit down with Ryan Welsh, lead pastor of teaching for The Village Church (Southlake) in Southlake, Texas, and a wealth of knowledge in the topics of ethics and human sexuality, particularly in the area of gender and human embodiment.

We talk about how we got here (sexuality in the year 2021) and Ryan gives us great insight into how to approach conversations regarding sexuality in every day life.

Ryan teaches as an adjunct instructor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is co-author of Raising The Dust (with Gregg Allison). He earned an M.Div. at Western Seminary and a D.Min. in homiletics from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is currently a Ph.D. student in ethics at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan and his wife, Kate, have two kids.
