"Save yourself for marriage." Hmm... a familiar message, but is this really God's message about sex? About purity? Not exactly. There's some truth here, but we've got our words all twisted and tangled. There is a whole lot of deception wrapped up in this little phrase as well as some others we'll consider in this episode. Because that's the thing about the deceiver... he deals in half-truths, partial-truths, 80/20-truths, how-about-we-just-leave-that-part-out-truths—distortions that impede the compelling vision our God has set before us! Freedom comes when we walk with The Truth. Purity is a relationship not an accomplishment.
